Scylla
Scylla, now Nethiri, was a female gnome warlock, played by Patrick Spek. The character was first introduced in the The Lost Elves campaign as a level 1 character in 2017 in the Vesmir setting. After being ritualistically sacrificed, her soul was transferred into the body of the Tiefling Nethiri - which she still inhabits now.

After transferring her soul to an entirely new dimension, Scylla finds herself in the care of 3 people. Admitting she has lost all memory they take it upon themselves to try and help her remember:
Nethiri
You, Nethiri Akthor, are a Tiefling highborn hailing from Trepun. Born into nobility you were disowned and banished from the family estate 2 years ago for refusing to marry a wealthy noble called Halvalor Eirfaer in a pre-arranged marriage. Being a highborn, however, meant that your life long education served well in making your own life. Your companions don't know much else about what happened before they met you 8 months ago, but when they did they saw a competent young woman, eager to get her hands dirty. You're a fighter and don't know when to stop, not just in combat but in conversations too. Your strong moral compass has gotten you and your companions in trouble more than once after speaking your mind a little too honestly.
"This is what we like about you so much", Harriet says while she swells with a kind of pride telling you about the one time a city guard had tried to arrest an innocent old man after bumping in and you told the guard off so bad "his jaw basically fell off and hit the floor!"
The Party
Besides yourself there's 3 others:
- Oneshoe (or as he likes to rattle off, Erky Sindri Alston Frouse Burgell Jabble "Oneshoe" Fapplestamp), a young Gnome fellow accompanied by a young dog usually used for herding sheep. Oneshoe is very much in tune with "the many voices of nature" as he calls it and Tagga says she's never seen someone commune with plants and animals before. Born on the edge of Suhder he was always drawn out, and would go out whenever he had the chance. For the last decade or so he has been wandering the Astran League, communing with the many spirits of the lands, and trying to find the traces of the gods of the stories.
- Harriet Tealeaf is a halfling raised from birth in the monastic tradition of the Silver Spirit, a tradition that teaches its students to find inner wisdom, trust one's intuition, and practice self-reflection to continually better oneself. Harriet... has trouble following this doctrine. She was fed up with the monks and their preaching and simply left, serving as a deck-hand on a trading ship for a year or so before coming across the trio and tagging along with them. Oneshoe describes her as a hot-head, which she furiously denies, and Pagga says she's got a mean punch even an ogre wouldn't want to catch.
- Pagga Jassan is a Half-Orc with scars across her relatively young face that she got from fighting as a gladiator. At first she was put in the ring as punishment for a violent robbery she committed as a teen and soon found that she not only liked the fighting but also liked the attention and showmanship. She had gotten to be one of the most well known gladiators in all of the Astran League but an... "argument" with a religious figure she refuses to name or even describe got her banned from the arena a little over a year ago - her clenched fists and distant stare suggest not to ask too much about it. Pagga still wants to be a famous fighter and entertainer, and now hopes to build a name for herself slaying monsters.
How they met each other
Pagga was the first one to meet Nethiri 8 months ago. The Half-Orc had gotten herself into an argument in one of Suhder's many drinking holes when one of the other patrons - a water Genasi - insulted her. Nethiri stepped in just in time to stop the Genasi's possee from punching Pagga up and starting a full on tavern brawl, and she defused the tension. Pagga and Nethiri hit it off almost immediately after, and with both of them down on their luck they decided to stick together for a little while at least.
Skip ahead a couple of weeks and the two of them formed a duo working odd jobs within Suhder - from manual labor at the docks to guarding livestock on farms outside the city limits - when one night a little figure came across their path. The figure in question had been playing a ditty on his flute under the full moon out on a small hilltop some way south of Suhder, allegedly scaring farmers and travelers in the surrounding area on account of "summoning Fey spirits". Oneshoe, when confronted, was rather perplexed at this allegation but perfectly willing to "give it a whirl if you wanna!". The little Gnome would go on to ramble about the spirits of the land, how none of the farm folk and travelers understood that the Fey wouldn't even want to get close to all this orderly business they were up, and he was just glad to finally met people to actually listen to him instead of chucking stones to chase him and his flute works away. Pagga especially was curious about this little fellow and promised to treat him to a good ale if he told her more about the spirits and the Fey, pretty much adopting him.
Only a few days later, as the trio was wandering around the city looking for work at the docks an argument drew their attention to a small trading vessel. The captain of the ship, surrounded by a few of his deckhands, was in something of a shouting competition with a young halfling. The short of it was that the halfling had her possessions thrown from the ships onto the docks and the ship leaving without her. Pagga, who couldn't help but feel sorry for her, approached her to offer her a drink and while this almost got her a punch in the mouth eventually Harriet agreed. As it turned out, however, this little Halfling cannot hold her liquor and soon found herself in the middle of a full on tavern brawl. But nothing works to bond better than getting fucked up and in the gutter together, and despite some mild protesting from Nethiri (who ended up paying for booze and damages), Harriet was adopted into the little group.
The Party adventures
For a few weeks the four struggled to find much in the way of work, aside from odd jobs here and there, until the call from a city crier caught their attention: "Goblin menace in the west raiding farms and caravans! Ptarians are calling for information on the source!" Seeing an opportunity to earn money the ever sharp Harriet immediately jumped on this and talked her way into securing a decent pay for the party to find and hunt goblins - earning them 5 silver for every Goblin ear they could bring back.
This turned out to be a bit of a break; this earned a good sum of money and after proving themselves to the Ptarian guards they were given a number of odd jobs the guards couldn't or didn't want to deal with ranging from protecting outlying farms to hunting roaming bandits. As it turned out, the party was pretty good at being muscle for hire and they found themselves guarding caravans for the next few months traveling from Suhder to Bazit, Valgen, Pinst, and back again while earning a decent wage and being on the road.
Some days after their return to Suhder the party was requisitioned by the Ptarian guards to check on some outlying farms to calm the rumors of more Goblins, believing this to be scared farmers with overactive imaginations. Of course, it wasn't their imagination and the four stumbled upon a make-shift hideout of Goblins and Hobgoblins. Only once they discovered just how many of them there were it was already too late and a bloody battle ensued: Many Goblins died, some Hobgoblins died, and here Nethiri was killed. Harriet described how they only just managed to drag her out, with Oneshoe having falling unconcious as well. It was because of Pagga's relentless strength that they managed to get out with Nethiri's body and make it back to Suhder.
Family Situation
The three of them tell you that you never talked about your family a lot, they figured it was a painful topic considering the disownment and banishment. What they can tell you, though, is that your family is from Trepun and apparently the lineage can be tracked all the way to the nobility of the Trepun Hegemony many centuries ago before it was conquered by Suhder. Harriet knows there are still many families that claim to be nobility of some sort or another, but these claims are often flimsy at best and used to prop up reputations more than anything else. "My guess is that your folks were filthy rich and thought it would sound more fancy if they called themselves nobility. You know, keeps 'em apart from the common folk." None of them are familiar with your last name "Akthor", other than knowing you. Pagga remembers you telling her about your siblings, two younger sisters. Your relationship with the oldest apparently wasn't great after refusing the marriage, but she remembers you had a good bond with the younger one. "Amia... Afmi... Amphitheater? No... Something with an A and an M and an I..."As for your parents, well, it was often too sore to talk about.
