The Astran Calendar is a calendar format created in the Astran League and used many different cultures.
While the Calendar is widely used, the names of months and days, as well as holidays may vary per culture.

Structure[edit]

The Calendar is split in:

  • 10 months of 41 days for a total of 410 days
  • Each week has 6 days, corresponding to half cycles of the largest moon Lunaris.

Months[edit]

The months correspond do different deities worshipped, starting the first month the day after Mid-Winter.

  • 1: Selir, named after Selune
  • 2: Aurilir, named after Auriel
  • 3: Eldhir, named after Eldath
  • 4: Lathir, named after Lathender
  • 5: Mystrir, named after Mystra
  • 6: Pelir, named after Pelor
  • 7: Bahmir, named after Bahamut
  • 8: Oghmir, named after Oghma
  • 9: Kelir, named after Kelemvor
  • 10: Nehzir, named after Nehzen

The 41st day of Nehzen corresponds to Mid-Winter, as the Shepherd of the Dead guides the year to its final resting place before Selune shines her lunar light to welcome the new year the next day.
