Verdant

The Verdant is a collective of people connected through a desire to protect the creation of nature and all that belongs to her, and a mission to follow the original teachings of Eldath, first God of Life.

The Verdant is ancient, hailing from a time well before the keeping of it on Vayan. The Verdant collective now is a direct continuation of the original Verdant Protectors and Eldath's inner circle on Vayan. However, with Eldath's dissapearance after the first Era the Verdant has been without a patron deity for millenia, and while Lathendar and Selune will call for their aid from time to time none of the Verdant would call them their patrons.

With numbers just over a 100 strong, the Verdant are only loosely connected to each other physically, but strongly connected in their cause. The Verdant are spread all over Vashora, and their very existance is unknown to most mortals on the continent - with a strong intention to keep it as such.

To be indicted into the Verdant is to be accepted into a family and it speaks not only of the trust you have earned in your sponsors - without whom you would have never known of the Verdant - but also of your dedication to the cause. A member of the Verdant will give their life to protect and serve that and those that would be exploited for simple gain and enrichment, and they will take up arms to fight injustice done to Eldath's Creation.
