Finding the Cave
- Survival Skill Challenge
- 3 checks of 15+ to find the cave. Every check adds 30 minutes to the track (minimum 1.5h travel).
- Successful checks have them find a path through the thick underbrush.
At the cave "Following the river down south for [an hour and a half] or so, you've seen the tall grass be replaced with a thick woodland; Tall trees with thick underbrush growing from the banks up the foothills that the water cuts through. Traveling through this dense vegetation takes time, with only Fayra being used to these environments - and especially Rees struggling to keep on top of the plants assaulting you from all sides. Luckily, the vague trail left by whoever came before you handily points you in the right direction, and after some time you find yourself in a clearing, which stretches from the bank of the river up to what seems to be an overhang in the hills. As you emerge, however, you hear voices not too far from you. Roll a stealth check."
