[[category:quest]] The Radion has a sign up for a tournament! Single elimination, 16 participants, with a prize pool of 2000gp! 1000 for the winner, 500 for number 2, and 250 for number 3 and 4. The Radion is a massive arena used to provide entertainment to inhabitants and visitors of Suhder alike. From tragedies and comedies, to the great Circus of Milay, and most famously its gladiatorial combat, the Radion has at least one kind of show that appeals to everyone - especially because entry is free of charge for a regular seat. Once a year, on Saint Arwyn's Ascension, the Steel Vanguard uses the Radion to recruit "Arwyn's Chosen" in a week long tournament they call the Cosmic Cleansing and with massive sacks of gold promised to the winner this draws in hopeful fighters from all walks of life. == Pre Fight == The sign up happens at the entrance of the arena, where a man in relatively fancy dress is trying to convince a crowd of people to sign up. The man, Flavius, is standing on a box and is writing on a piece of parchment, telling people who sign up to go inside and wait for details. Once inside a woman, dressed similarly to Flavius lays out the details: *Participants will be divided into 8 pairs *Each pair will fight until 1 can't fight anymore *The winner passes on *Winners fight each other *The last winner wins the big prize While the winner takes home the big 1000gp prize, those who entertain the crowd might catch eye of wealthy patrons! There are also 4 arena configurations for people to fight in. A coin toss will decide who choses which arena. == In between Fights == Every fight allows for a short rest in between, and will provide participants with healing potions to top off. A long rest is held between the semi-final and final fights. The player can use a performance check to try and impress the audience! Higher score is more impressed. 15+ on average will garner additional attention of a random patron, 20+ of a wealthy patron.
