The Astran Calendar is a calendar format created in the Astran League and used many different cultures. <br />
While the Calendar is widely used, the names of months and days, as well as holidays may vary per culture.

== Structure ==
The Calendar is split in:
*10 months of 41 days for a total of 410 days
*Each week has 6 days, corresponding to half cycles of the largest moon Lunaris.

=== Months ===
The months correspond do different deities worshipped, starting the first month the day after Mid-Winter.
*1: Selir, named after Selune
*2: Aurilir, named after Auriel
*3: Eldhir, named after Eldath
*4: Lathir, named after Lathender
*5: Mystrir, named after Mystra
*6: Pelir, named after Pelor
*7: Bahmir, named after Bahamut
*8: Oghmir, named after Oghma
*9: Kelir, named after Kelemvor
*10: Nehzir, named after Nehzen 

The 41st day of Nehzen corresponds to Mid-Winter, as the Shepherd of the Dead guides the year to its final resting place before Selune shines her lunar light to welcome the new year the next day.
