==== The Inmer Conflict ==== The Trepun Hegemony fell in 431 PCA, but was allowed to rule semi-autonomously under the condition its army surrendered and was dissolved into the Suhder military. The Bazition Kingdom capitulated only 6 months later under the condition it was allowed the same privileges as the Trepun Hegemony. This established Suhder as a much larger empire, it's borders stretching all the way west from the Eventide Ocean around the northern shore of the Inmer to the Barrier Ridge. Officially this marked the end of the war - for the time at least. Small skirmishes still took place, mostly at sea, with Mohnian vessels but it never came to large scale confrontations between the Suhderian and Mohnian navies. This was until the 38th of Mystrir 435 PCA, when the newly established Pinst-Qinric alliance, supported by the Mohnian Coalition declared war on the Suhder Empire. Still recovering from conquering its neighbors and a lack of substantial border defenses, much Barrier Ridge Plateau was quickly won by the Pinst armies while the Qinric soldiers were laying siege to Trepun on the other side of the Inmer. After an additional push deeper into Suhder territory and a failed siege of Bazit in 438 PCA, much of the following war devolved into a stalemate. Trepun turned out to be much more easily defended from an attack from the south, Bazit's sea access made it impossible to starve, and the wide plains bisected with rivers made for relatively easy to defend territory for Suhder. Some of the more notable conflicts: *'''The Night of Blood''', 444 PCA: The Night of Blood was a stealth strike of the Pinst forces. A handful of small groups of soldiers breached the encampments of the Suhder army near the Plateau stream disguised as fleeing families. Here they murdered several hundreds of soldiers before being captured and executed. *'''The Third Siege of Trepun''', 453 PCA: The third siege of Trepun destroyed much of the inner city. Over half of the city was leveled in one way or another, thousands were killed, and eventually the city was taken. *'''The Mohnian Tragedy''', 480 PCA: It started with the destruction of the majority of the Mohnian navy. Admiral Zehmor of the Suhderian navy gambled on a hurricane entering the Lunarest Bay and staged an invasion of the Mohnian mainland, tricking the Mohnians to position their fleet in a vulnerable location while being able to save most of his own fleet in the process. This loss of defenses resulted in the invasion of [[Tri'palk]], the Mohnian capital, and execution of its leadership at the hand of Zehmor's troops. The Coalition fell apart and Tri'palk absorbed into the Suhderian empire. *'''Attack on the Archon''', 481 PCA: An attempted Assassination of Archon Hrak. A Mohnian agent had infiltrated the palace disguised as a priest of Pelor and managed to critically injure the Archon. Before being carried away he is recorded to have cried "I am but the first of the Mohnian vengeful. Your soul will never rest.". The Archon survived, but wouldn't be seen for a long time. *'''The Trepun Retaliation''', 482 PCA: The Trepun Retaliation was by far the most string of confrontations in the entire war. Not for the siege of the city, of which there was none. On the 4th of Lathir Suhderian troops staged a quick and effective 3-prong attack after carefully infiltrating the city, and retook it on . Many of the fleeing troops were massacred, which was soon followed by retaliation from both Qinric and Pinst troops - ending in massive battles taking place over the next few months. By the time the 16th of Pelir came around - only 94 days later - both sides had lost tens of thousands of troops while no one had won much territory in the process.
