Kobolds have been spotted in the last few weeks and occasionally kill livestock, and wounded a man a few nights before. 
*The man is called Yannick, a miner who can occasionally be found in the Wateringhole. He is a human in his early thirties and tells a tall tale of how he heroically fended off the Kobolds and sent them running. 
** Can be intimidated, persuaded, or otherwise bought (with money, liquor, or anything else worth something) to tell the players he saw the Kobolds run off North into the Duskleaf about 3 nights ago.
